-Presented at the 2019 Peel Teacher Led Conference about using digital tools to support academic integrity and empower students to recognize and avoid plagiarism.
-Provided a safe space to LGBTQ+ students and allies by starting a Spectrum club at Warnica PS and Homelands PS.
-Applied learning from a three-part workshop around Residential Schools and the Indigenous experience by integrating Indigenous perspective into lessons across all subject areas and supported colleagues in teaching in the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation through PD.
-Re-designed the breakfast program to make it more equitable to all students.
-Participated in the 7-10 math networks and created a variety of digital resources related to our inquiry around explicitly teaching math strategies in order to support student’s ability to think critically in math and make their thinking visible.
